TheyearwasextraordinarysuccessfulforZHA.ThismightseemsurprisinginthefaceoftheCoronaViruspandemic.Thepandemicwasinitiallyachallenge.Wehadtoorganizeandtechnicallyimplementhomeworkingforouremployees.However,wesucceededratherwellandcouldmaintainourproductivitylevels,Isuspectbywayofgettingmorehoursperemployee.Wemanagedtostayintouchwithourclientsviavideoconferencing,meetdesigndeliverydeadlines,aswellaswinnewwork.MostofthisworkisinChina.Therestoftheworldsloweddown.ThekeytoourgreatyearwasthusthefactthatChina’seconomyrecoveredquicklyandthattherewereonlyminimaldelaysinprojectschedulesinChina.AsaresulttheproportionofChineseprojectsinouroverallprojectportfolioincreaseddramatically.Interestingly,ourfocusonChinaallowedustoachieveourlargestorderbookeven,implyingagrowthrateofabout30%.
对于ZHA而言，年是非常成功的一年。这在新冠疫情肆虐的大背景下似乎有些令人震惊。在疫情刚开始的时候，必须让名员工居家办公，我们的确面临着挑战。但我怀疑也是因为居家办公，每位员工的工作时间增加了，我们成功适应了这种工作模式，工作效率也没有降低。我们通过视频会议与客户保持联系，设法在设计交付期限之前完成任务，还赢得了新的项目。这些项目大部分在中国，这也是我们这一年成功的关键——在世界的其他地方因为疫情经济下行的时候，中国的经济很快就恢复了，我们在中国项目进度只有很小程度的延误，也因此，中国项目数量在我们整体项目中的比例急剧提升。有趣的是，我们对中国的重视甚至让我们达成了最大的订单量，这意味着约30％的增长率。
